ACCOUNTING, TAX & COMPLIANCE
TRUVIS supports UAE businesses with corporate tax, VAT, accounting, UBO, AML, bookkeeping, and compliance systems built from the first day of operation.

COMPLIANCE FRAMEWORK
The UAE compliance environment is enforcement-active. Corporate tax registration, VAT monitoring, UBO declarations, AML obligations, and proper accounting records all require an organised compliance framework from the moment the licence is issued.
TRUVIS establishes and manages that framework through structured filings, documented accounting processes, compliance calendars, and advisor-led review so clients can operate with confidence across UAE regulatory requirements.
DECISION STANDARD
Every service is structured around clarity, documentation, and long-term operational fit — not simply completing a transaction.
OUR PROCESS
TRUVIS keeps accounting and tax obligations organised through a practical workflow that reduces penalties, improves visibility, and supports long-term governance.
Review the licence, activity, ownership, VAT exposure, corporate tax position, and compliance obligations.
Coordinate FTA registrations, tax profile setup, goAML or compliance registration where applicable.
Run bookkeeping, records, management accounts, calendars, and working papers throughout the year.
Prepare returns, filings, declarations, financial statements, and compliance updates within required deadlines.
REGULATORY COVERAGE
TRUVIS links each obligation into a single operating system so the company remains current, documented, and ready for regulator, bank, auditor, or investor review.
CORE SERVICES
Businesses operating in the UAE must manage tax, ownership transparency, financial reporting, and regulatory filings. TRUVIS keeps these obligations structured and visible.
TRUVIS STANDARD
TRUVIS keeps each mandate aligned with the practical realities of the UAE market: regulatory expectations, banking due diligence, ownership documentation, corporate governance, tax obligations, and the client’s long-term operating model.

FAQ
Answers reflect the position as at October 2026. Rules change and every application is decided by the relevant authority, so treat this as orientation rather than advice on your specific case.
Yes. Every UAE company, including free zone companies that expect to pay 0%, must register with the Federal Tax Authority through EmaraTax. Late registration attracts an administrative penalty. Our corporate tax registration guide walks through the process and deadlines.
VAT registration is mandatory when taxable supplies and imports exceed AED 375,000 over the previous 12 months, or are expected to exceed it in the next 30 days. Voluntary registration is available from AED 187,500. Threshold monitoring matters because late registration is penalised.
A free zone company that meets specific conditions — adequate substance in the free zone, qualifying income, transfer pricing compliance, audited financial statements and not electing to be taxed at the standard rate — can apply 0% corporate tax to its qualifying income. Non-qualifying income above the de minimis limits is taxed at 9%. Status has to be maintained every year, not just claimed once.
Audited statements are required for Qualifying Free Zone Persons and for businesses above the revenue threshold set by the Ministry of Finance, and many free zones require them for licence renewal regardless. We keep bookkeeping audit-ready throughout the year so the audit is a review, not a reconstruction.
